Nature of the Network

The Latin American Network is not a partnership, it is not an exclusive relationship, and no referral fees are paid between member firms. The Network is a collection of independent firms chosen for their common characteristics, expertise and vision in order to serve clients better throughout Latin America. Improved client service is achieved through the following internal and external programs:

Internally
  • Compatible internal e-mail network and website for transmission of documents and maintaining a common dialogue of relevant issues.
  •
  • Meeting of partners twice a year to develop personal relationships, commitment to common clients, and to discuss ways to improve service.
  •
  • Sharing information about legal developments and business opportunities within member countries.
  •
  • Rotating young associates through member firms in order to establish common standards and practice skills.

Externally
  • We can offer one centralized bill for services rendered by all member firms.
  •
  • We can offer one relationship partner who will be responsible for managing the services provided by all member firms.
  •
  • We will joint venture projects, with the client's permission, when the relevant expertise is found in more than one member firm. For example, the expertise of Mr. Morote of the Rossello firm as an adviser to the Peruvian government, proved invaluable in addressing issues raised under Mexican law in the restructuring of the Mexican electricity industry; similarly, our experience in Mexican financing transactions has helped in the development of trust structures in other Latin American countries.
  •
  • We will organize educational programs and seminars for network clients.
